“Erdoğan Yazıcı” which was built by Özata Tersanecilik San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti and has the title of  ‘the largest passenger boat’ ever launched with a capacity of 1000 passengers, is launched at a ceremony held at the Özata Shipyard in Eskihisar Yalova on 4 August 2012.

Dentur Avrasya, Mavi Marmara and Turyol managers and members, Özata Shipyard’s owner Özdemir Ataseven, his sons Hulusi Ataseven and Gökhan Ataseven, and leading representatives of the maritime industry attended the ceremony. Workers and engineers who contributed to the construction of the ship were also present at the ceremony. The Holy Quran was read and prayers were said before the Erdoğan Yazıcı passenger boat landed. Then the boat was launched into the sea.

The “Erdoğan Yazıcı” passenger boat, which will operate under Dentur Avrasya Group, will start operate 20 days later. The boat will mainly use for bosphorus tours with guide/translator service, daily scheduled trips, weddings, receptions, etc. within the scope of tourism services in  the bosphorus İstanbul and its surroundings can be rented for special organizations and private trips in Marmara.

Dentur Avrasya Board Member Hüseyin Şişman said that the boat will operate more efficiently next season as this season is at the completion stage. Şişman noted that the passenger boat can be rented privately by companies or individuals.
